Family Vacation - Part 3

This was the big day...the sole purpose in everyone going all the way to Utah!  We all got to visit the St. George Temple to be with Nephi and Lindsy for their sealing!  I love this temple...it is so WHITE.  Not all of them are so bright, you could see it from all over town.  Absolutely beautiful!  Their plants even grow...it's amazing what a little rain can do!  This is only the second one that I have be in...and how neat to have been there to share with the Tipas in being sealed for time and all eternity!  It was a wonderful experience...made the trip well worth it!  What a blessing it is to know that we can be together forever!

I almost didn't have room to scoot back far enough to get the entire Temple in the picture!

Here's Afton waiting for Nephi and Lindsy to come out for pictures!  Happy boy!

Here's Garron!

And Braydon...he honestly thought he was going to die!  It was 100 degrees out there and he was tired of being reverent!  He's my one that simply cannot keep it together when he's not happy!  There comes a certain point that he just completely falls apart.  This was one of those times!  Poor baby!

Owen and Christopher at the St. George Temple in Utah

Sweet moments...
The depths of the love that Christopher and all of his brothers and sisters have for each other is a wonderful thing...
this is what it's all about!

Nephi, Lindsy, Owen and Kyron Tipa

Gotta have some grandparents in the picture!

And some siblings.
These guys are blessed with one heck of a support system on both sides of the family!

Everyone had a big morning!  We all kind of went our separate ways after the Temple and then everyone went home and crashed out all afternoon.  That evening we had a big reception at Lindsy's grandmother's house.  Lindsy is quite the powerhouse when it comes to being creative.  And from what I can tell, she comes by it honestly.  Very talented women in her family!
I wish that I would have taken more pictures.  I was a bit uptight that night...imagine that!  I was more concerned with my kids remembering that there is a time and a place for everything or that someone was going to haul off into the pool!
Everything was presented beautifully!

Check out all of my extra hands!  I love it!  There are so many people always willing to help me here in Lubbock ( they must think I need it :)...but it just makes all the difference in the world when my kids will allow the help.  Obviously they're all with people they love and trust!  Richie has Rykin and Talo has Braydon!  Braydon chooses very carefully who he lets into his little life.  He is just full of love...if he lets you in...you've got a friend!  Uncle Talo must have done something right!

Lehi and Braydon watching the slide show at the reception.  My kids just think their uncles hung the moon!

Oh...what a long day!  But who said anything about stopping!
Game time when we got home.  I don't even remember what they played...but it got rather comical before it was all said and done.  Richie and Aunt Donna where having to toss a pair of glasses back and forth so that they could see to read the cards!

Nice!

Uncle Talo providing some music for the evening!  So awesome!

Christopher, Owen and Garron

And then even further into the middle of the night we decided to take the party outside.  Who needs sleep anyway?!?  Car speakers are obviously louder than computer speakers...so by all means!
Good thing we were on the outskirts of town!

Owen took my boys and taught them some moves!  They had so much fun...especially Rykin...he was so serious!  He wanted to learn!  He had hoped that someone would be there that would teach him...he talked about it for weeks before we got there.  Owen was an answer to his little prayers.  Thank you Owen for taking the time to be with them and teach them.  You made their night!

Vanessa and Leilani took Kaywen and taught her a dance that they both knew!  I love it!  Kaywen was so  tickled.  She loves her Aunt Vanessa...and she loves Leilani now too!  Last time they even saw each other, Kaywen was very small.  It means so much to my kids when the 'big kids' are willing to spend time with them!  Leilani is kind of off in the shadows...which makes me sad...she is another one in our family that is just full of all kinds of talents!  She's a natural at this...so awesome!

And last of all Rykin had to show us his moves with the Poi Balls that Grandma Tipa brought him from Hawaii!  He plays with these all the time...took them on the trip just incase he needed them!
