One of my very best friends says she needs a bumper sticker that says, WILL TRAVEL FOR FRIENDS! A little trip is well worth good company in my opinion, so we do it often as we can! You will have to excuse my finger in some of my pictures lately...I'm just not always paying attention!
Here's my crazy Braydon...we went for a birthday party one day, and it just so happened that it was one of those glorious occasions that it was raining outside. All of the kids were drenched from top to bottom. He has only recently decided that it is too hot to wear his winter hat everywhere he goes!
Maggie, Kaywen and Liza
Another day we all went to the farm! And oh what fun they all had there! Kids, animals, eggs and a dear couple who welcomed them there and allowed them to just go and do whatever their little hearts desired! They played and played all day long!
Braydon, Afton and Christian showing us the first of hundreds of eggs that they found that day!
Kaywen was in her dream world! She loves animals and animals there were! She got to hold goats and chase chickens and met a dog that was as tall as she is! What fun!
I love Afton's face...Maggie was helping him feel the goat. He wasn't so sure about that!
Here's all these silly boys! Not sure who or what they were all looking at, but it sure wasn't me!
Afton was doing some serious Rollie-Pollie hunting...he even turned his little hat around backwards so he could get down close to see better!
Our older kids pair off and they're gone! Kaywen and Maggie hung around to hold baby animals, but Rykin and Liza split as soon as we got there! This was one of the few times I saw these two little faces all day long! They hit the ground running and were just off to do their own thing!
One of the greatest things about the whole day were the eggs! I cannot begin to tell you how many chickens and how many eggs there were. The couple who's farm we were at just let the kids go...they set up a little kitchen area and had jars and bowls and oh so many eggs. They got to crack eggs until their hearts were content. What kid doesn't love to crack eggs!?! Kaywen must have had one too many!
Afton and Braydon found more eggs way back in this barrel...so by all means...we must enter and retrieve them! Good thing Afton is tiny!
This is a classic! Garron found his own treasure and loved every minute of it. Too cute!
He also found a little friend that just kind of hung around for a while. He thought that was pretty neat!
This is one of those...you had to be there pictures...all the kids were off playing, we were kind of taking it easy and visiting, when out of no where the loud, crazy screeches of these guinea hens disturbed the peace! And then we saw why! Braydon snuck around behind them and then started yelling and chasing them! Not real sure what he was thinking, but he got brave and went after them!
And this is one of my favorite pictures! Just Kaywen and Maggie being silly, but adorable just the same!
Great friendships make for a Great Day!
