Easter

This year was strange at Easter time because we were unable to be in Childress for Easter Sunday?!?

The kids didn't think that was right at all.  We did get to hunt eggs with some of our friends the week before...not the same as cousins, but Easter just the same.  

We chose to have our little get together at a park.  There really weren't any good places to hide eggs...no trees or anything.  And besides that, the wind was crazy...needless to say....our egg hunting lasted all of a few minutes and then they were off to play! 

Rykin...on top of the world again!  I'm pretty sure that is not what was intended as proper use of those poles. And notice the slide on the right...no rails...just a rut down the middle for your hind end...that's what Afton fell from last year to break his arm.  Horrible play ground design in my opinion, but they are all over town!
