Kaywen has a new love for Hannah Montana off of the disney channel. Her daddy made her two Hannah Montana CD's and she got to go to the mall with mom on a girly date...so she calls our outings...and finally got her ears pierced! What a day!

My baby!!
We frequent this little park not too far from our house. The kids absolutely love it! They call it the Spiderman park because there are lots of things to climb on....and obviously, fall off of! Afton fell from the top of the slide and broke his little arm! We spent all night in the ER...got home about 2:30 am...we were all so exhausted. Afton has been a good sport so far. He is in a splint for a few more days and will then go get it casted. This picture was taken at the end of his first day of having it out of commission. They all decided they wanted to color...Afton is left handed...he gave up. Poor thing!

This is what happens when Mom has nothing to do with haircuts!!

Our Transition
So, we finally picked up and moved away from Childress, but the transition has been an easy one. If only our house in Childress would sell, everything would be even better. We miss seeing all of our family all the time, but at the same time we have really enjoyed our new home. I never imagined that I would love Childress so much...I fell in love with being there. I am quickly realizing that I will be that way where ever we are, as long as we're together! Home is where we are!
We have enjoyed our new ward...actually our 2 new wards in the month that we've been here. Two weeks after we got here they re-arranged all of the ward boundaries and added two new wards! So we got to switch again and meet all new people...and go from a meeting time at noon to a meeting time at 8:30! We had stake conference this weekend. They told us at the adult session that the next stake conference would have to be split into two sessions in order to accommodate everyone. It's rather chaotic with that many people all around, but awesome all at the same time! What a great time to be where we are!
The day before we moved Rykin smashed his finger in a cabinet door and ended up having to go to the emergency room to get stitches. (My first experience with stitches by the way...not fun) He was such a big boy. It did bother him when they put the stitches in...the numbing medication didn't have time to work, so he felt everything...I could see it all over his face. I was so glad that Christopher was there...I am not any better than the kids are when they are hurt.
The boys have thoroughly enjoyed having a bathtub! Oh the simple things in life! We never had one in Childress and now we have 2. They absolutely love taking baths...which is good!
We had to do some re-arranging with bedrooms in our new house. It's a little bit more of a squeeze than our house in Childress. Braydon and Afton share a room and Kaywen and Rykin share a room. Grandma Tipa gave us a big bed for the little boys. I don't know how they sleep in the same place. They are crazy sleepers...especially when they include all of their friends!
We had an entire week of rain a few weeks ago. There were a few times that we thought the water might come in the back door. It flooded all around the house. The kids had the bright idea to go outside and play in the rain. They were shocked when we agreed to let them go! Then they decided that we were the best parents ever! (As long as we let them have their way) They had lots of fun!

This last week was beautiful...So we decided to spend the week cleaning our tiny little yard. It sure isn't much, but it is a fenced in place for the kids to go and be outside. The pint size yard is hard to get used to compared to our old yard that sat on a lot and a half, but this one is far easier to maintain! We put their monkey bars together and planted some flowers! Planting flowers is not a pregnant friendly activity! I gave up and just let the kids do it! With daddy's help, they did a great job! Looks like something straight off of HGTV! Such talented little workers.
